Join The Recreation Association in conjunction with The Travel Adventure on this fantastic excellent value for money trip to China on 10-21 October, 2011. As part of the package, you will visit a number of famous sites, including: Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, The Great Wall, The Olympic area and The Terracotta Army. On this adventure you will travel by Planes, Trains, Rickshaws, Bicycles and Executive Style Coach.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE (Based on 2 Adults in a Room)

• Return Flights from London Heathrow to Beijing and Shanghai to Heathrow on the award winning 5* Qatar Airlines

• 3* plus & 4* Accommodation throughout in Twin / Double rooms

• All known current airport charges, security charges and fuel costs

• Full western Buffet Breakfast each day at the hotels

• Multi Course Chinese Dinners each day, including a Peking Duck Banquet

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

• Meals (Lunches, except for the Hutong Tour) & Drinks other than those stated above

• Transport to and from Heathrow

• It is a condition of booking that all passengers are comprehensively insured

• Single Supplement £189 (excludes sleeper)

• Any visits that you require which incur additional costs

• Visas. The current cost including agency handling charge, when arranged directly with ‘Visas for China’ is about £70 (Cost is per passport). The Travel Adventure can provide guidance and documentation for this application.

• Tips, for which the recommended level is £3 per person per day. This covers Guides, Drivers, Restaurants, Hotels etc and can be prepaid in advance, if preferred.

NB Chinese sleepers are allocated in blocks of 4 per compartment. If you require lesser occupancy, it is necessary to buy a ticket and sleeper berth to make up the missing berths, which is £54 per unused berth (Beijing / Xian).

Members of the Association Lottery will receive an additional discount for up to 2 people.

Any bookings for more than 2 people would receive a discount for the first 2 people and then pay Non-Lottery members rate for any people over and above 2.
